Destin Stella Marina truly sets the stage for a remarkable vacation experience! Its meticulous attention to detail and partnership with local concierge services ensure that guests feel not just welcomed, but truly cared for during their stay. The layout of the condo, with its three bedrooms and two baths, is designed to accommodate different groups, making it versatile and ideal for families or couples traveling together.
The top-floor location offers breathtaking views of the Gulf, enhancing the overall ambiance of relaxation and tranquility. The variety of sleeping arrangements, from luxurious king beds to cozy bunk beds and a comfortable sleeper sofa with a premium mattress, caters to the diverse needs of guests.
Moreover, the condo's fully-equipped kitchen, complete with modern amenities and appliances, allows guests to prepare meals with ease. The thoughtful provision of amenities such as board games, beach toys, and a cooler enhances the beach experience, ensuring that guests can fully enjoy their time by the water.
The inclusion of Beach Service,( 2 chairs and 1 umbrella , starting mid March-Late October weather permitting ) along with beach towels provided in the condo, adds convenience and luxury to guests' beach outings. Meanwhile, the array of amenities within the Maravilla gated community, from private beaches and pools to sports courts and fitness facilities, offers additional opportunities for relaxation and recreation.
With its convenient location near grocery stores, shopping centers, and dining options, Destin Stella Marina truly offers the best of both worlds: a serene beach retreat coupled with easy access to essential amenities and attractions. Stella Marina is a charming 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo nestled within the esteemed Maravilla Resort. The open floor plan, adorned with a delightful marine theme, invites you to prepare family meals in the fully stocked kitchen while enjoying the company of loved ones or catching up on your favorite TV shows.
The dining room boasts a spacious table accommodating six guests, with additional seating for four at the bar, ensuring everyone has a place to gather for meals and conversation. The living room is equipped with a 65" Smart HD TV, perfect for family entertainment, and features sliding doors that lead to a large balcony—a serene spot for savoring morning coffee or enjoying moonlit dinners.
The master bedroom offers ample space and comfort with a king-size bed, an ensuite full bathroom complete with a tub/shower combo, a closet, a dedicated work station, and access to the balcony through sliding doors. Guest Bedroom #2 is equally spacious, featuring a king-size bed and an ensuite bathroom with a full-size tub/shower combo, accessible from the hallway as well.
Guest Bedroom #3 provides cozy accommodation with a twin-over-twin bunk bed, ideal for younger guests or siblings.
Additionally, a queen sleeper sofa with a plush 8-inch mattress offers extra sleeping space in the living room.

Does Maravilla 1408 Accept All Dogs?
Maravilla 1408 welcomes well-behaved, house-trained dogs that meet the following requirements:
- Up to 2 dogs per reservation
- Dogs must be 40 lbs or under
- Advance approval is required prior to booking
- Dogs must not belong to a prohibited breed or mix, regardless of behavior
While not all Maravilla units allow pets, Unit 1408 invites you to inquire about bringing your furry companion.
Are Dogs Allowed at Maravilla Resort?
Yes! Maravilla Resort is recognized as a pet-friendly community. However, not all units allow pets, and certain dog breeds are strictly prohibited, regardless of size, weight, or temperament.
Pet owners must:
- Prevent excessive barking or disturbance
- Keep dogs on a leash in outdoor areas
- Pick up and dispose of pet waste immediately
Important: A $125 fine may be issued by the HOA for failure to clean up after your dog. Waste must be disposed of in designated areas near the dumpsters — not in grassy common areas.
Dogs are not allowed in the fenced pool area, per HOA regulations.
Why Are Certain Dog Breeds Prohibited?
Breed restrictions are enforced due to HOA rules, insurance liability, and guest safety considerations. We strongly encourage owners of restricted breeds to arrange pet care with a sitter or licensed boarding facility prior to arrival. These rules are strictly enforced by resort security.
Prohibited Dog Breeds
The following breeds — or any mix thereof — are not permitted at Maravilla Resort:
- Akita, Anatolian Shepherd, Belgian Malinois, Boxer, Bull Terrier, Bullmastiff, Chow
- Doberman Pinscher, German Shepherd, Giant Schnauzer, Mastiff, Neapolitan Mastiff, Ovcharka
- Pit Bull (including American Bully), Pit Bull Terrier, Presa Canario, Rhodesian Ridgeback, Rottweiler
- Siberian Husky, Staffordshire Bull Terrier (American), Wolf or Wolf Hybrids
If you are unsure of your dog’s breed, consult your veterinarian and check with the property manager before booking.
Are There Any Pet Fees?
There is no additional pet fee for approved dogs at Maravilla 1408. However, guests are financially responsible for any:
- Excessive shedding or pet-related messes
- Damage to the unit or furnishings
Extra cleaning or repairs will be billed as needed.
Requirements for Bringing a Dog
Guests must provide the following:
- Pet’s name, breed, age, and general information
- Proof of current vaccinations as required by Florida law
- Assurance that the dog is:
- Free from fleas or communicable infections
- Clean and well-groomed
- House-trained
- Socialized, obedient, and has no history of biting
Guests must also:
- Prevent barking, chasing, or aggressive behavior
- Abide by all property rules, including leash laws and waste disposal
- Accept liability for any damages or disturbances
What Should I Bring for My Pet?
To ensure your dog’s comfort and to maintain the unit’s cleanliness, please bring:
- Leash, waste bags, and cleaning supplies
- Bedding, crate, or carrier (especially if pet is left unattended)
- Food, water, toys, and any necessary items
- A sheet or blanket if your dog will be on furniture or linens
- Towels or wipes for muddy paws or wet fur
Ensure your dog is dry and clean before re-entering the condo. Accidents must be cleaned up immediately — especially on rugs.
Please remove all pet hair, sand, and waste before departure to avoid extra cleaning charges.
Are Dogs Allowed in Restaurants?
Service animals are permitted in all public areas. For pets, some restaurants in the area allow leashed dogs on outdoor patios or decks. Call ahead, as policies vary by location and may be subject to season or time of day.
Can Dogs Go on the Beach?
No. Local beaches do not permit visiting dogs at any time.
- Walton County issues $500 fines for violations
- Dog beach licenses are only available to permanent Florida residents, with limited beach access hours
- The City of Destin maintains a 3-acre dog park with areas for small and large dogs

Ask your veterinarian for breed documentation. Most vets provide ID paperwork listing breed, color, and size. If there is any doubt your pet may fall under the restricted list, we recommend finding alternate pet care.
